Brief: To rebuild their existing website to focus on improving SEO, while creating a beautiful site that matches their in-house marketing materials.
Julia and Hayley form Beauty On Location approached us to give some SEO advice on how to improve their existing WIX website.
They had a gorgeous brand created by Pip Wildman. 10 years old, but still super fresh! However their existing website did not reflect this branding, nor was it performing as desired in organic search engine results.
We recommended that a brand new, thoughtfully created site would be the best approach for their situation. Together we decided to build a new website in WordPress, and they commissioned us to create some new SEO-optimized website copy for them.
We backed up the gorgeous new website design with thorough SEO-optimized website copy throughout, we are delighted that their website now reflects their business so much better, and creates a seamless experience for clients. We also linked in their Timely booking software so clients can now book and reschedule themselves.
SEO RANKING IMPROVEMENTS
One of the key indicators for the success of the new site is how it performs in organic search results in Google. With the old website, beauty On Location was only ranking in the top 100 results for seven of her top 10 target keywords.
Beauty On Location is now ranking on page 1 or 2 for every keyword. This includes one keyword that they previously did not rank for, but are now at position 8 on page 1.
