Danyel from Wilkin River Jets approached us to redesign their website to make it easier for customers to access key information. The navigation was not user-friendly, and the homepage didn’t make it easy for visitors to access information about the different jet boat tours and water taxi services.
This involved adding in a number of new pages to vastly improve the quality of information on the website, and to increase their Search Engine Optimization opportunities. Where there was previously a single page for each category (Jet Boat Tours, Tramping Access, Helicopter combo tours) we added sub pages for each of these – so that each individual offering (specific tour) has it’s own landing page.
We also added in a prices page to make this information clearer to customers, as well as a page about the local Makarora area.
We worked with Wilkin River Jet prior to the website project to establish a clear brand identity. From this we were able to use the established colours and fonts to create a bold and cohesive design.
Booking opportunities exist twice at the top of the page, and then a third time at the bottom of the page.
This allows another really easy way for visitors to access key information, like booking, contact, jet boat tours and the location of the business.
