United Water Works is a subsidiary of Kerry Drainage & Civil and Guaranteed Flow Systems and brings together the expertise of both companies in one entity. The team approached us first to create their company branding and then we used that as the platform from which to design the website.
From the brand development, we had a clear direction in which to head with colours, typography and image styling. We used a modern and professional sans serif font on he website which provided a clean look.
For imagery, we had recommended in the brand style guide that at times they could overlay their images with the brand gradient. This visually creates a bold connection between their image and their brand. We used this technique for the main images across the site – especially those in the title and footer areas.
