Nikki from FemmeWell‘s vision for her website was clear – to create an online platform that reflected her commitment to women’s health, naturopathy, and holistic wellness – combining expert naturopathic services, practitioner-only herbal medicine and supplements, and informative content.

FemmeWell’s mission is about empowering women through evidence-based natural care and supportive guidance at every stage of life, from fertility and hormonal health to perimenopause, gut health, immunity, stress and beyond. Nikki is also passionate about supporting children to be the best they can be through natural supplements and support.

The vision was to build a platform that could sell practitioner-only supplements, retail supplements, showcase specialised naturopathic services, and offer educational content – all in one cohesive, user-friendly space.

A major part of this project was building a fully functioning ecommerce store, powered by WooCommerce, to manage orders, products and customer accounts.

Customisations were made to filter the products into two main types – practitioner-only and retail. Restrictions are in place for the practitioner-only products, as customers are required to apply for an account before Nikki can sell these products to them. Retail products are available for anyone to buy.

Product categories are structured around health needs – such as hormonal balance, fertility, pregnancy, gut health, immunity and menopause – making it easy for customers to browse supplements relevant to their wellness goals. WooCommerce handles all order processing, customer data, stock management and notifications, giving the FemmeWell team a reliable backend system that’s simple to maintain and scale.

Beyond ecommerce, the site needed to clearly communicate FemmeWell’s naturopathic consultations. We built pages that explain what clients can expect, how the consultation process works, and how FemmeWell provides tailored wellness guidance. The aim was to create a seamless path from browsing to booking, whether a user is looking for natural health products or professional support. For bookings, Nikki uses Cliniko – so the BOOK A CONSULTATION buttons open a new window with all the booking details.

On the design side, we focused on a calm, modern aesthetic that reflects the brand’s women-centred, compassionate approach. The homepage guides users into three clear pathways – shop, services and wellness information – ensuring the site feels organised rather than overwhelming. Navigation is intentionally simple to help clients find what they need quickly, whether they’re searching for supplements, exploring services or reading educational content.

FemmeWell has a polished, professional website that supports both sides of their business – product sales & consultations. Customers can easily browse supplements, learn about women’s health topics, book naturopathic appointments and manage their purchases through a WooCommerce-powered shop.

To make finding the information they need as intuitive as possible – links between products, topics and blog posts were created to assist in providing a comprehensive resource for women.

The site reflects FemmeWell’s values while offering the functionality needed for a modern health and wellness brand. It’s scalable, organised and built to grow alongside the business as new services, product lines or content are added.
