It was so fun to be involved in creating some new merchandise for Wanaka bakery Pembroke Patisserie.
One of our longtime clients and friends, we whole heartedly believe in these guys – their work ethos is off the charts, and their food ranks even higher! If you are ever down in Wanaka – this bakery and cafe is a MUST DO.
We started by going through their Instagram feed and finding photos of some of their classic pastries. We then hand drew over these and created custom illustrations.
We chose donuts, croissants, kouign-amann, strawberry tarts, chocolate eclairs, french stick and canelé. We paired these illustrations with their logo, as well as their location and the Bon Appetit tagline that is used elsewhere in their branding.
We also created another recipe card for their classic chocolate mud cake, with more hand drawn illustrations.
