Led by farmers, for farmers, the Good Farm Planning Hub shares tools, resources, and events to support Taranaki agri-business and protect the environment.
The resources were not easy to search for, and their presentation meant they weren’t having as big of an SEO impact as they could have been. The custom WordPress theme also made updates difficult.
We started with a copy of the existing site, and then built structures around the existing content using Elementor to make it far easier to use and to update.
Each resource didn’t have it’s own landing page within the website, so we improved that by making each resource have it’s own page, with expanded descriptions and images. We also prioritised the presence of search bars so there are lots of places people can access content.
The blog posts were difficult to find (only listed at the bottom of the Events page previously), so we separated them out into their own page so they could easily be found and browsed through.
