Client: Nourished For Life, Wanaka
Brief: To create an e-commerce website for a new health & wellness company offering chef-prepared pre-cooked meals, delivered to Wanaka residents.
Nourished For Life approached us to help with the branding, graphic design and website development for their new ready-meal company. Unique to the Wanaka market, the team at Nourished For Life are made up of three friends, passionate about health, fitness and wellness. One third of the team is a professional chef who is the mastermind behind the delicious meals on offer that are a God-send for busy people. With meals such as rump steak with chimichurri, grilled halloumi and mushroom, salmon with quinoa salad and Morroccan lamb – there is something their for everyone. With the fit & health conscious in mind, they have also created a range of Performance Meals, which focus on protein, with add-ons such as more protein, brown rice or quinoa.
The website needed to provide an online platform to manage their orders as well as give a clear representation of the quality of their food & service. We worked with them to build a WordPress site running Woo Commerce, with customized plugins to enable the creation of custom meal plans. A custom-built timer on the website header also provides valuable feedback for customers when it is getting close to an ordering cut-off time – to make sure they don’t miss out on getting their meal orders through to the team in time.
Nourished For Life worked with a local Photographer and had a range of stunning imagery that we were able to use across the website. The images tell the complete story of meal prep through to meal presentation, and it made the website build really simple to have such great imagery to choose from.
We also assisted the team with their website copy writing, to ensure that every opportunity to include keywords was taken advantage of, and that the key messages came across clearly.
