Brief: To build a new website to improve performance, functionality and create a beautiful shopfront for a growing Wanaka-based business.
GEORGE & EDI came to Envy Web + Design in December 2015 needing a new website to take their ecommerce business to the next level.
Rose and Sarah had an existing WIX website that they had built themselves and it had worked well for them for the first four years of their business. But they had come to a stage where they needed to bring the website more inline with the company direction and for it to fulfill business objectives.
The brief was to build a more visual site with a strong identity, easy to navigate and purchase from, with a separate area for their wholesale stockists to login and order from. They also wanted to continue being able to manage the site themselves, so it needed to be easily managed.
We created a WordPress platform for them operating with Woo Commerce. Since launching the new site, GEORGE & EDI have seen an almost 100% increase in sales through the website.
In 2017, they reviewed the website and we did a redesign to add more information and update the look and feel of the website.
