Escape Adventurous Journeys are made up of a team of passionate outdoor educators who want as many people as possible to have fun, safe, challenging and inspiring adventures in our beautiful country. They love introducing a wide range of people to the outdoors and the stunning scenery of New Zealand, and also helping Kiwis to discover parts of our country they haven’t explored before.
Through their guided walks and camping trip around Lake Tarawera and the Tongariro National Park, they enable people to safely explore the outdoors. They also offer Corporate team building events in the form of day trips or weekend escapes.
The booking system runs on Woo Commerce and allows for three different types of bookings to match their specific needs. There are set date camps, as well as calendar based bookings which allows them to open up specific trips for customers to select their own dates, within parameters set by the team.
The website design is bright and clean. We created a colour palette for them based on their logo red, complimented by other shades of red, and then green to represent the colour of the bush, blue for the lakes and the sky, and then dark and light neutral shades.
The rest of the website design is made beautiful with the use of photos taken by team member Rod Hill.
We also did the website copywriting, meeting with Mark and Rod to hear all about their passion for the outdoors and why a trip with Escape Adventurous Journeys will give you a fantastic experience in nature.
With lots of experience, knowledge, passion and robust safety procedures, the team will make a trip around Lake Tarawera for the day, or to camp overnight, an easy and stress-free adventure for everyone.
