    Website Design - Redwood Joinery

Client: Redwood Joinery, Rotorua Brief: To create a website for new Rotorua joinery company Redwood Joinery - to serve as a marketing tool showcase their work and what services are available. Shane and Karlene from Redowwd Joinery approched us to build them a modern, easy-to-use website for their start-up business specialising in residential and commercial quality kitchens, offices, fit outs and custom joinery in the Rotorua and greater Bay of Plenty region. The company offers a start to finish service - from design, manufacture to install - using only top quality products to fulfil their customers commercial and residential joinery needs.  We also worked with Redwood Joinery on their logo  so that was the starting point when considering the design. It needed to be bright, modern and clean - and use black, red and white as the main colours. The stunning images that were supplied of their work helped to make the website look fantastic. The main feature of this website is the project gallery which allows them to showcase their work, and the Testimonials page  that allows people to read real-life recommendations of their work.   www.redwoodjoinery.co.nz

Website Design - Charlotte Kiri Photography

Client: Charlotte Kiri Photography, Wanaka Brief: To create a beautiful photography website to promote wedding, engagement, maternity, family, lifestyle and commercial photography services in Wanaka, Central Otago. Charlotte Kiri is a Wanaka-based photographer who describes herself as a moment-inspired photographer for lovers of wide-open spaces, snowcapped mountains and the adventurous; and her documentary-style photography captures real-life moments perfectly. Charlotte approached us to create a simple, delicate web design to promote her Wanaka wedding photography business. We started by looking at websites that she liked, discusing the reasons and then taking elements from those and designing the page layouts on paper.  We then built those up from there online, using a WordPress base theme with a great page builder tool to create a website that is easy for Charlotte to work with moving forward - fully customizable as her business grows. Her lovely, delicate black and white logo created a direction for the overall aesthetic for the site - simple, and understated. We introduced one light pink shade, and then kept the rest in shades of grey and black. The pink is echoed in many of the images on the website, all taken by Charl..

Business Card Design - Jodie Walker

Client: Jodie Walker, Wanaka Hair Stylist Brief: To create a simple, eye-catching business card for Jodie to hand out to potential and existing clients. With Jodie we talked about the style and look she was after and settled on a soft pink colour palette and a mandella pattern. We limited the colours to just pink, white and grey and chose two complimentary fonts - a bold sans serif font for her name, then a pretty serif font in italics for the details. The end result was an understated, but beautiful business card that reflects the business owner.

    Website Design – Novia Brides

Client: Novia Brides, Hawea, Central Otago Brief: To create a website for a new bridal studio located near Wanaka, in the tranquil rural settlement of Hawea. Sandy at Novia Brides was a recent bride herself, and during her wedding dress research she came across the stunning YolanCris wedding dresses made in Barcelona. Haute couture, unique and exceptionally well-made, Sandy saw a gap in the New Zealand wedding market and set about establishing a bridal studio to showcase the wedding gowns. She also expanded her range to include dresses from Auckland wedding dress designer Katie Yueng. The dresses from YolanCris are made-to-order for each bride in Barcelona, so she has a selection of sample gowns in her studio, then the dress is created in Spain, and Novia Brides seamstress Sue will make any final alterations when the dress arrives. The website needed to be clean and simple to showcase the imagery of the dresses. We created a base of an ecommerce site, so that we could easily draw on those features in the future if needed, but created a plugin to change the add to cart functionality to an enquire now button – as at this stage, all transactions are made in person after a dress decision has been made. The logo was also created ..
