    Logo Design - Basecamp Adventures

Client: Basecamp Adventures, Wanaka Brief: To create a unique identity for an adventure tourism company operating in Wanaka & Queenstown. Basecamp Adventures is the new master brand that encompasses a number of existing companies offering active adventure experiences in the Queenstown-Lakes District. Basecamp Adventures offers a range of experiences including indoor rock climbing, outdoor rock climbing, snowshoe tours, guided walks, family adventures and private guiding. The existing businesses are currently operating under different business names, however the goal is to bring them all under this brand - so the new logo needed to cater for all existing and future adventure experiences, and not be specific to any one activity. Our goal was to represent a brand offering fun, safe and quality adventures for a broad range of travellers and locals and to create a unique, recognisable and distinctive identity that is synonymous with outdoor adventures in Wanaka & Queenstown. We brainstormed imagery related to adventure and the outdoors, and the chosen logo mark was created by combining a GPS or compass navigational icon with Treble Cone contour lines from a topographic map. Custom Web Application - Marketing Mate

Client: Marketing Mate, Australia Brief: To upgrade the existing interactive 10 Step Marketing Plan Generator into a web application. Marketing Mate approached us with a marketing planning business that allowed people easily create marketing plans tailored to their business. Marketing Mate had an existing interactive 10 Step Marketing Plan Generator in PDF form, that people were able to purchase to create a customized marketing plan. They employed Envy Web + Design to upgrade the system by custom building the Marketing Mate Web Application - which provides online access to the Marketing Plan Wizard and offers multiple new features. They had an existing Squarespace website as the front-end marketing tool, and Marketing Mate kept that in place while we built the software for the web app to work alongside this. The app works on a subscription basis, where people can sign up on one of three tiers – Basic, Professional or Corporate/Education. Depending on the chosen subscription, customers can then use the app to write one or more strategic and tailored marketing plans – complete with over 160 marketing tips and tricks direct from a professional marketer.   www.marketingmate.info

Ecommerce Website Design - GEORGE & EDI

Client: GEORGE & EDI, Boutique Fragrance Company, Wanaka Brief: To build a new website to improve performance, functionality and create a beautiful shopfront for a growing Wanaka-based business. GEORGE & EDI came to Envy Web + Design in December 2015 needing a new website to take their ecommerce business to the next level. Rose and Sarah had an existing WIX website that they had built themselves and it had worked well for them for the first four years of their business. But they had come to a stage where they needed to bring the website more inline with the company direction and for it to fulfill business objectives. The brief was to build a more visual site with a strong identity, easy to navigate and purchase from, with a separate area for their wholesale stockists to login and order from.  They also wanted to continue being able to manage the site themselves, so it needed to be easily managed. We created a Wordpress platform for them operating with Woo Commerce. Since launching the new site, GEORGE & EDI have seen an almost 100% increase in sales through the website. In 2017, they reviewed the website and we did a redesign to add more information and update the look and feel of the website.   www.geor..

    Logo Design - Priority Transfers

Client: Priority Transfers, Waikato  Brief: To create a professional, crisp and sharp logo for a new business for transporting patients to ACC appointments. The team at Priority Transfers needed a logo to represent their company to their target market of ACC Case managers who are responsible for organising and booking transport for patients who can’t make appointments by themselves. The brand needed to show a commitment to timeliness and professionalism. The client had some ideas around imagery relating to vehicles and clocks - but the successful design was a logo mark with a triple arrow - stylised in an upward direction to communicate these qualities. We also created flyers, business cards and letterhead for them to use.

Website Design - Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre

Client: Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre Brief: to create a modern, easy to navigate, mobile-friendly website for both their regular attendees as well as church visitors. The team at Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre approached us to update their website. It was not only outdated and needing a refresh, but church-goers found the site confusing to navigate which was preventing them from using it to its full potential. We were asked to create a site that was first and foremost practical, easy to navigate and clear. Secondly, to do it while creating a website that would show their friendly and welcoming environment. The team had a clear idea of the look and feel for the site. One of the key features was a fixed side menu with icons, to create clear directions for people visiting the site. The other was the use of large background images to brighten the website and give it a fresh, current look and feel. The site also needed to have sermons uploaded weekly, the ability to add events, upload newsletters, venue hire information as well as all the general information from the church about services, groups and activities.   wpccc.org.nz

Logo Design - New Zealand Wedding Directory

Client: The New Zealand Wedding Directory, Auckland Brief: To create a new logo to bring a fresh, updated look and feel to the company, while appealing to brides, grooms and advertisers. New owners Melissa and Tane contacted us to refresh the branding of the New Zealand Wedding Directory .  We discussed the look they were after and they wanted something modern, professional and recognisable. As part of the discovery phase for logo design, we asked Melissa to show us some logos she liked. One was a brand that had a clever icon which combined a map pin with love hearts for a wedding venue website, and the other logo was a simple, round stamp design. During my sketching phase, I brainstormed icons and imagery associated with weddings and directories. I decided that a folder was a symbolic representation of a directory and a heart a symbolic representation of a wedding, and love. So I combined the two into a striking icon which formed the heart of the brand. This was paired with a bold, readable script font, and a simple sans serif complimentary font. I created both a horizontal layout and a round stamp layout for versatility, colouring them in cheerful yellow and pink. The next part of the project is a websit..

Logo Design - Major & Minor

Client: Major and Minor Wedding Hire, Wanaka Brief: To create elegant branding for a new wedding hire company in Wanaka. Sophie and Aubury from Major and Minor have collected a large range of up-to-date, on trend hire items and wanted a logo that would convey this to their customers. Sophie wanted the logo to consist of a mix of script and bold lettering, so we hand lettered the word 'minor' and chose a simple, sans serif bold font for the word 'major'. These were paired with an elegant ampersand to tie them together. To convey what Major & Minor is all about, we circled the lettering with a description of their services - Wedding and Event Hire. The logo was then created in a gold foil as well as black, and we also created a submark using the two m's, and then circling this with the company name and the services line.  Check Major & Minor out for all of your Wanaka wedding and party hire needs.   www.majorandminorhire.co.nz
