    Logo Design - Priority Transfers

Client: Priority Transfers, Waikato  Brief: To create a professional, crisp and sharp logo for a new business for transporting patients to ACC appointments. The team at Priority Transfers needed a logo to represent their company to their target market of ACC Case managers who are responsible for organising and booking transport for patients who can’t make appointments by themselves. The brand needed to show a commitment to timeliness and professionalism. The client had some ideas around imagery relating to vehicles and clocks - but the successful design was a logo mark with a triple arrow - stylised in an upward direction to communicate these qualities. We also created flyers, business cards and letterhead for them to use.

Website Design - Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre

Client: Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre Brief: to create a modern, easy to navigate, mobile-friendly website for both their regular attendees as well as church visitors. The team at Wanaka Presbyterian Community Church Centre approached us to update their website. It was not only outdated and needing a refresh, but church-goers found the site confusing to navigate which was preventing them from using it to its full potential. We were asked to create a site that was first and foremost practical, easy to navigate and clear. Secondly, to do it while creating a website that would show their friendly and welcoming environment. The team had a clear idea of the look and feel for the site. One of the key features was a fixed side menu with icons, to create clear directions for people visiting the site. The other was the use of large background images to brighten the website and give it a fresh, current look and feel. The site also needed to have sermons uploaded weekly, the ability to add events, upload newsletters, venue hire information as well as all the general information from the church about services, groups and activities.   wpccc.org.nz

Logo Design - New Zealand Wedding Directory

Client: The New Zealand Wedding Directory, Auckland Brief: To create a new logo to bring a fresh, updated look and feel to the company, while appealing to brides, grooms and advertisers. New owners Melissa and Tane contacted us to refresh the branding of the New Zealand Wedding Directory .  We discussed the look they were after and they wanted something modern, professional and recognisable. As part of the discovery phase for logo design, we asked Melissa to show us some logos she liked. One was a brand that had a clever icon which combined a map pin with love hearts for a wedding venue website, and the other logo was a simple, round stamp design. During my sketching phase, I brainstormed icons and imagery associated with weddings and directories. I decided that a folder was a symbolic representation of a directory and a heart a symbolic representation of a wedding, and love. So I combined the two into a striking icon which formed the heart of the brand. This was paired with a bold, readable script font, and a simple sans serif complimentary font. I created both a horizontal layout and a round stamp layout for versatility, colouring them in cheerful yellow and pink. The next part of the project is a websit..

Logo Design - Major & Minor

Client: Major and Minor Wedding Hire, Wanaka Brief: To create elegant branding for a new wedding hire company in Wanaka. Sophie and Aubury from Major and Minor have collected a large range of up-to-date, on trend hire items and wanted a logo that would convey this to their customers. Sophie wanted the logo to consist of a mix of script and bold lettering, so we hand lettered the word 'minor' and chose a simple, sans serif bold font for the word 'major'. These were paired with an elegant ampersand to tie them together. To convey what Major & Minor is all about, we circled the lettering with a description of their services - Wedding and Event Hire. The logo was then created in a gold foil as well as black, and we also created a submark using the two m's, and then circling this with the company name and the services line.  Check Major & Minor out for all of your Wanaka wedding and party hire needs.   www.majorandminorhire.co.nz

Her lovely, delicate black and white logo created a direction for the overall aesthetic for the site - simple, and understated.
